We had a slow start this spring due to our many "snow birds."

6-26-11 PLANT SWAP & SALE - Heuer's Restaurant parking lot

Membership -

Membership to our club is FREE. Items will be raffled and/or available for purchase at meetings to help fund our club. Donations are encouraged and always appreciated.

Membership is open to all interested men, women, and their children.

We want to encourage the entire family to join in gardening, our meetings, and our events or programs. Many men and children can bring fresh new ideas to the club. Children learn by example, and will ultimately be the future of our Earth. They will benefit by helping their parents better the community and by participating in age-appropriate activities.

Gardening knowledge or experience is not necessary, but the love of our Nippersink Creek and the ability to participate, learn, and grow with our club is desired.

We do not have plans for exuberant flower shows, expensive projects, or a scholarship fund at this time. We continue to get input from interested members on the goals of our club, the information we would like to learn and share, the meeting dates and times, and all other pertinent club information. Because of the large amount of working parents, we have agreed on Saturday meetings.

If you would be interested in joining and helping form our new
Nippersink Garden Club, please contact us HERE,
or join our contact database on Yahoo Groups.
Some members are not able to access Yahoo Groups.
Do not be discouraged, it is not necessary.
Just give us a phone call.

Our Nippersink Garden Club Yahoo Groups Site is designed to be a helpful reference and communication hub for our club members to access member names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and calendar of events.

Announcements can be sent via mass e-mail, and all meetings and club events can be added to the calendar. Any personal information is disclosed to members only.

Applications in the Group Labs Project allows us to add addresses to a map database for easy directions to meetings, events, and activities. Our club spans a large area of four counties in two states. This will serve to be a valuable reference to bring the club closer together.

Your ideas are very important to us!

Remember, this is a new club...

Your input at meetings will be needed to create the club you desire.

Let us know if you would like to host a meeting at your home. We encourage members to host meetings and give a tour of their private home gardens. We just ask that coffee and bottled water is served. Club members bring a dish to pass for brunch.
